Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Equities and Bonds execution in various local and foreign exchanges for internal and external customers;
  • Assist clients with trading and settlement issues involving payment and collection of debts;
  • Assist external customers on account matters enquiries from all channels (ie phone, email or web);
  • Assist external customers on corporate action and equities transfer matters;
  • Perform trade reconciliation and investigation across regional offices;

Data Scientist for Wealth Products

Responsibilities

  • Support wealth products (Investment, Insurance, and Equity) business of the consumer bank business to identify acquisition and sales growth opportunities, and provide analytical insight supporting business strategies to make the customer joyful;
  • Work closely with business, technology and partner to understand the analytic requirements, leverage on internal and external available data and use analytics techniques to provide data-driven insights;
  • dentify new business opportunity, marketing initiatives. Analyse customer behaviour or other related psychographic attribute and help design campaigns to drive customer engagement and marketing effectiveness with predictive analytics;
  • Work with various teams to design, develop and maintain product data mart as a single source data for MIS/analytics;

Requirements

Manager – Valuation Control

Responsibilities

  • Carry out independent fair valuation of private equity investments at quarter-end reporting, using mainly the Income and the Market Approach;
  • Perform in-depth analysis with regards to appropriate valuation methodologies, investees’ earnings forecasts / projections, etc., and challenge / analyse the underlying assumptions used in the fair valuation;
  • Be familiar with Bloomberg / Reuters and other external vendor services pricing;
  • Prepare summary quarterly reports for senior management / valuation committee meeting;
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with various stakeholders, both internal (PC, Internal Auditor, Business Unit, Front Office) and external (External Auditor), and provide full support as part of the quarterly reporting requirement;
  • Assist in calculating the Prudent Valuation Adjustments number, as part of the quarterly reporting requirement;
  • Perform research to stay updated on the latest market practices;
  • Follow and monitor closely news flows / key developments / significant movements of the portfolio of investments.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience within the financial industry (preferably related to private equity, investment banking or business valuations);
  • University degree level, preferably Finance / Business / Accounting or similar ;
  • Strong financial modelling skills (MS Excel);

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing programmes and large, complex projects, and defining and refining the project strategy. Using good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for a project;
